Leaving in a bit to look over a beaver job. Mostly don't charge as of picking up the ground for fur season, but his land owner doesn't want to go this way. So what is the going rate for beaver removal?? Thanks Scott

No clue what to charge. But be safe and have fun.

I just finished one last week. Charged $100 for set up and $100 per beaver. Many would say my setup fee was way too cheap but it was close I also have option to trap on his property next fall. Pulled out 6 beaver in three days. Charge whatever the market will bare.

Expenses+profit.
I learned quickly not to charge per beaver. I charge a day rate. Minimum of 3 checks (48hr)

I had a woman call me a couple months ago. Said she lived about a quarter mile from a creek. Said a beaver was under her porch. Had dug a hole and was living in it. So I made sure I had heard right about the distance to water and explained that often people mistake a ground hog sighting for a beaver. She wasn't having it. Kept saying it had a flat tail. When I asked if the tail had brown fur or was black she just kept saying it was flat. "My daughter and I both saw it". At the time I was still hobbling around due to a broken ankle so used that for an excuse not to drive out. Some stuff aint worth the headache. Probably could have caught the ground hog and called it a beaver but I just dont have that kind of personality.

He must not have had a problem. If it starts to causing a problem, he won't be so hard to get along with. Good on you for walking.

I charge 150 per beaver + 50 a service call.

Been getting 75.00 set up…75.00 per head…plus .65 cent per mile
