what is the price in your area? Eggs and Eggs instead of steak and Eggs!

2.50 to 3 a dozen for the large, white eggs in the gas stations and grocery stores.

Most farm eggs have gone from 3 up to 4 a dozen. I am holding at 3, but if feed goes up any more I will have to raise my prices.

I dunno. I stopped looking at the price of food, I just put it in the cart and swipe the card. We gotta eat no matter what, no sense looking at the price and getting myself all worked up over it.

I bought chickens this spring though. Built an 8’x8’x8’ coop with a 15’x15’ run out of scrap lumber, only cost me my time so hopefully they’ll pay for themselves before the end of the year.

i have trouble selling eggs at 2 bucks a dozen. Mine are a mix of brown, chocolate, white, tan, green and blue. Some people wouldn't eat em cause i have a rooster in there and they are fertile. Whatever, more for me to eat.

I usually pay 89 cents a doz and $1.19 for a dozen and a half at Kroger.
Just came back from Kroger and had to pay $1.99 for a doz.
Food inflation is 8%?, I don’t think so….

Still a decent food for the price when one considers all the ways and uses for them.

I use egglands best, the price seems similar to farm eggs. I think the real inexpensive eggs are way off on nutrients compared to farm/better eggs.

The time to walk out to the coop, feed cost, chips/beding in the coop, and chick's. I don't want to calculate it and see how much in in the hole.

We sell them for 3 a dozen but I think my wife said it's going up to 4?

I just buy feed for my egg producers. Its probably more expensive than buying eggs but way more fun having the girls running around the place.

My wife sells our eggs to a local farm store and gets three bucks a doz for them. She went to Denver to her daughters the other day, and took all her extras and left overs, and one lady bought them all for five bucks a doz. Big brown eggs with a sunshine yoke!

3.59 a dozen. Not long ago, .99 to 1.59 depending on store.

I don't know the store price.
I sell to two people
3 a doz.

But one lady gives me a $20 for 4 and won't take change
