I try to stay out of the news (can’t believe most of it) but what is all of the abortion conflict about? Was info leaked by someone and it stirred things up??

The Supreme Court is making a ruling on a case that could overturn Roe v. Wade and would allow states to make their own laws regarding abortion. Some are up in arms about it because certain states would undoubtedly ban it altogether.

The states that would ban it, would ban it because the majority of folks have voted in people that are pro life. It's called democracy. Not something that the bonsai communists are familiar with or indeed prove off. They want their agenda forced down everyones neck no matter what. That kind of system only works for so long with is what they will find out in a messy way at some point if they don't see the error of their ways soon and I for one don't think that they will.

Isn't it funny, that the last thing the " democrats " want is democracy. They are scared of it like a vampire is of sunlight

Dodd sues takes up to Scotus.

Arguments heard first of this year.

Ruling to be released at a later unspecified date. Believed to be just prior to the June recess.

Speculation on what the ruling will be, many think overturn Roe.

This week Politico publishes a leaked 98 page first draft, not the final, of the ruling by Justice Alito that rips into both Roe and Casey and overturns both sending the whole abortion jurisdiction back to the states.

This is the first leak and breach of Scotus sanctity in the entirity of it's history. In some ways more damaging than any kind of ruling.

As this was just the first draft and not final the Justices, all nine, are still free to alter or amend their vote or opinion until the final ruling is made public.

Pressure is being brought to bear on the five justices who voted to overturn.

By the release of the Draft Document it has done exactly what whoever released it aim was. The minority of our country will riot and scare the justices to rule with mob rule, (antifa, BLM and FBI plants)retain status quo!

The leak could be intended to motivate the left to get out and vote. Hopefully it back fires on the left. In my mind abortion is the worst Holocaust our world has ever had.

It was an actual hard copy that politico obtained. I listened to Senator Ted Cruz explain the security details from when he was a law clerk there. They keep these rulings in a closed loop just between the justices and the justices personal clerks. Nothing connected to the net.

According to folks in the know only twelve possible clerks could have handed over a hard copy.
