I want to make a beaver trough out of a 2 x 6. Anyone have any pictures or measurements? Thanks
It is more blessed to give than to receive

Greetings fellow beaver trappers, season opens on November 1st, and Gerry and I are more than ready, have some in the freezer, that I had planned on having done by now, but that didn’t work out, looking forward to all your photos and experiences. Good luck All.

Looks like that knife could be the twin to mine!

Pretty sure it is a Russel Dexter knife used by many old time beaver trappers, if not most.
The only constant in trapping is change so keep learning.

Yup, that would be the same as mine. Bought mine mail order in the late 70's. Still gets lots of use.

And digging that folding table for skinning beaver. Nice set up. Jim
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

John, I can’t say I like it better than a trough because I’ve never used one but I like my table, baught it as a portable work table, no top on it , a long time ago, and it has evolved into my beaver table, if you know an electrician with a conduit bender it would be easy to make .
