I want to put this eagle carved moose antler on my cabin wall. I plan on putting it on a large branch I want to use two small bolts or one large one to mount it to the branch. Can anyone recommend a good epoxy they’ve used

I'm stunned with that piece! Gorilla glue or JB weld have large variety of products for specific bonding now.

you're only allowed so many sunrises... I aim to see every one of them!

I bought it at Pioneer Village in Fairbanks at the end of summer about 5 years ago. I wish I had that kind of talent.

Should be able to drill and tap the antler itself, and they sell threaded inserts for drywall that would likely work too./

Fiber Glass or maybe Bondo would work.

I drill and tap threads in deer antler all the time to make drawer pulls on china cabinets and such. No glue needed. Antlers are made of a fantastically durable material.

I've used JB Weld to glue knife blades into antler handles and it worked very well.

My concern with tapping it is a moose antler isn’t light and this one would be difficult to replace if damaged from a 10 foot fall. A good glue is often as strong as the material it is applied too.

Thanks for the replies.

Epoxies are the strongest glues psi. Personally i use any kind of 2 part epoxy. Ive used every brand of 5 minute epoxy. I also use some west systems epoxy as well. It takes longer to dry 24 hrs but has a certain flexibility to it. I would use that in conjunction with a mechanical fasteners aka bolts
