Doing well at 12. I bet he wasn’t neutered to be doing that well with that much muscle tone at 12.

Nice looking Lab. I've had a couple of really good ones. Can't beat them. My current one is 13 1/2 years old. Haven't hunted him for a couple of years. I pray that some morning he just doesn't wake up. He's about blind, can't hardly hear and his hips are giving out. I will do what has to be done but I can't stand the thought of having to put him down. I hope God grants my prayer that he dies in his sleep. We've had a wonderful run together and I am so thankful to have had him in my life. I give him a little extra attention and scratching every day!

Great pic of Jack. He looks Handsome. Just took this of my boy Roscoe couple days ago. Also 12 1/2. Slowing down but is still handsome.
swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

We have had labs for 40 years. They have been part of our lives. We always liked getting littermate brothers. They were much happier and healthier overall. The last two made it to 14 years 5 months, and 14 years and 11 months. They lived the most full lives. They were doing well enough up to the very end. I miss all of my labs and hounds. Wife promised to put my whistle lanyard in my coffin.
