Just a plain old American robin taking advantage of a turban...

It's amazing how fast a robins nest can be built. Last year every other day I was taking one off the wife's front tire. They built 5 in a row then gave up and nested on a post leaning on the barn

Not a weird place on our front deck, but my 6 year old checks on the babies everyday they grow fast, don't look like it will be to much longer before they leave the nest.

Very nice, Jack. I remember the wren nesting in the skull when I visited you all at your wonderful get together.

I have robins nesting in the rafters of my pole barn where I park my truck. The safest place they could choose, far from marauding ravens. All they need to do is tolerate me at times , which they do.

Yep we have robins nesting In the pole barn. When the doors are closed they just drop down and walk under the doors.

Once again all the bird houses and clothesline poles are occupied and I keep some bird seed in the feeder for them and the house wrens really enjoy the one half dead tree in the back yard it must have some tasty bugs on and in it .

Was building a barn when I knocked off at dark one day, and when I went back the next day, there were 3 robin nest's with eggs on the post's on the 2nd story. Had to quit for a few weeks to let them do their thing.

Dang robins kept me awake last night with all their bragging about their colors and territories.

They get pretty aggressive this time of year

For years I had a bull skull hanging on the rail of the back deck. For a long time a wren of some sort would nest inside of the cavity and she was more than a little territorial LOL.

If she had been as big as a banty rooster it would not have been safe to be in the backyard
