My son got him a nice turkey couple weeks ago
24# , 9" beard and 1# spurs.

Nice bird. Jerry took my son turkey hunting near Medicine Bow Kansas a few years ago. It's the most turkeys any of us had ever seen.
He got a real nice.. I belive it was a merrimum(sp)

We don't have that type of turkey here.

If it was Medicine Lodge, KS it was more than likely a Rio or a Rio/Eastern Hybrid.
