Putin declare war, ha!! It will be the Poles, with or without the U.S. gov blessings, that start direct NATO-Russia shooting at each other.
So all these armor experts on here really know how to tell a Russian T-72 from a Ukie T-72, let alone all of the other armored vehicles. Interesting. The Ukies would never take a can of white spray paint and do a "Z" or "O" on any of their knocked out or disabled (mobility kill/ just broken down) stuff and show the dumbs888t western reporters hanging out in Kiev or Lvov hotels, "see, we got the Russians bad".
A lot of dead Ukie soldiers and their fellow travelers in eastern Ukraine. And more dying everyday. The Rus self-propelled 152s are chewing up bits and pieces of their entrenchments on a daily basis. No western reporters will actually go there. We'll see where things stand by the end of May in the east. Of course, if things don't escalate upwards by then, the alphabet soup boys and girls and Dept of State heroes are very busy on what they get to try next in Ukieland...

Sounds like click bait to me. Like the wiley coyote, I will just circle the bait at a distance and urinate on a nice shrub. Avoid that little bare spot in front of that shrub....
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Why would it matter, it's been how many weeks now and it ain't gone well. Anybody thinks this is going according to some great Russian military plan, is delusional.
What he should have done is declare victory and gone home. I know it makes no sense, but at least he'd be done losing billions in armor and tens of thousands of personnel.

Guys, it's very funny to read what you write. Can any of you answer the question why there will be no presidential elections in the U.S. in 2024? Not sure where you are going with this, but there hasn't been a real presidential election since George H W Bush won over Dukakis. Clinton won his first term with less than 50% of the vote due to interference from third party candidate Ross Perot taking 18.9% of the vote away from Bush. Perot won 8.4% to help Clinton win his second term. Was Perot in bed with the Democrats? You decide. George W Bush was nearly cheated out of winning Florida by the Democrats. Barrack Obama wasn't born in the USA. Hillary didn't do enough ballot box stuffing to eek out a win over Trump. Biden did. So I guess what I'm saying is that If "there will be no presidential elections in the U.S. in 2024", we are used to that. I do recall, early on in Biden's presidency, a reporter asked if he planned on running for a second term, he stuttered and sputtered before saying, "Come on man, I don't even know if there will be a Republican party in 2024." Now just what did he mean by that?!

The Russians have back peddled to hold only friendly territory and that's keeping them busy. Well, hippie there are lots of interesting sources out there, you just have to be willing to go look and take them with lots of skepticism of everything shown. I can show you lots and lots of dead Ukrainian soldiers pictures but I'll spare you the gore. When the last time any western MSM have given what the Ukrainian casualties have been, we only hear what the Rus have suffered. That seems a bit odd with "even handed journalism" or even from our various leadership. Given that NATO is basically running the UAF from a far and is using all of their various visual and electronic assets in near real time to find targets for the UAF, its a pretty hot proxy war. Just remember, people just don't become competent arty men and tank crews over night and the Ukies will probably run out of tactical people before they run out of western given weapons to try to use. We'll see if NATO is still out of direct fighting with the Rus by the end of the month. Carry on...

Putin is just waiting for his cut of the afghanistan type deal -- he needs to upgrade a few tech weapons --- I mean why not draw things out a little - minimize your losses by picking up all the leftovers when you finally decide that enough is enough? You already know that the US and nato are going to keep throwing money at it.

P.S. On March 5, two weeks into the war and after the increased economic sanctions on the Russians by Prez Sniffy and some of the EU, the exchange rate of the Rus ruble to the the USD was 98 to 1. Today, its 69 to 1. Ole Joe and the State Dept heroes are economically kicking the Rus down the street or maybe not. Ole bad, mad Vlad has some gold and is willing to double down on it. Sniffy and his decrepit Sec of the Treasury wouldn't dare put any sort of gold backing to the USD. No way that is possible. Enjoy the base line $5 diesel for trying to bail out the EU, it will most likely go higher. It will probably be a very interesting summer and fall here in the ole USA. Maybe we should work on our own problems for a change instead of wasting our money elsewhere...
