Hello, I'm relocating from Bethel to the Anchor Point area and plan to continue trapping around there. Looking to find beaver, otter, hopefully some coyote and wolverine if there are any around there. Primarily used conibears and snares in the past, but got some Bridger 5 on the way to try out. Any advice you guys have would be great.

Also How do I contact the local trapper association?

Thanks

You might post this on the Wilderness Forum. A lot of the Alaskan trappers hang out there. Good Luck.

Trapperman is a big place. Lots more than Trap Talk. Lots of speciality sub forums - trap collecting, ADV, lure making, fermenters, etc. Take 10 or 15 minutes to go exploring - lots of good info here.

And….I have to add, Wissmiss is an accomplished person of much information on traps, tanneries, furriers, fur sales, yearly trapping events, and many other things , I can’t even recall them all. She is the glue that binds the action end of the industry on the forum , and we appreciate her helpfulness very much.

Not much trapping around Anchor Point. The refuge is all but closed, maybe a little in the Caribou hills. You may
need to buy a boat and think about Otter along the coast.
