Is there some way to test 2 stoke fuel to see what the gas/oil mix ratios are? I have 2 cans and can't remember which is which?

I know of no reliable method. What are the two ratios? I switched all two stroke fuel to Amsoil Sabre. Good to 100:1 but I mix it about 80:1 in everything and have 1 mixed gas can. I used it for over 16 years at the golf course without even 1 engine failure. Could you possibly mix both cans to at least use up the fuel? I would think 50:1 and 40:1 are close if you mixed the two.

you're only allowed so many sunrises... I aim to see every one of them!

Over there.
Dump it in your lawn mower and use it up. Start over with a fresh can and label it. Don't make it more difficult than it has to be.

Sounds like you need to buy an electric weed eater or chain saw or dirt bike or boat as well

^^^^^^this ^^^^ put it in your truck , lawn mower any thing 4 stroke dilute it with a little more regular gas a buddies car and burn it up that way

it is absolutely not worth messing up your 2 stroke and while sending it off to a lab might tell you it would cost more than the loss of oil

how many gallons do you have?

and no one you know owns a gas car or truck?

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

If you can safely light a cap full on fire (away from the can of course,)the mixed gas will give off black smoke.
You can always add more oil too and won’t hurt the engine just might bugger up the plug and smoke a lot.

A white sheet of paper. Put a drop of plain gas, a drop of mixed gas on the paper. When the fuel evaporates the gas that had oil in it will leave the oil stain on the paper. Or if checking two cans of mixed gas , the heavier mixture will leave more of an oil stain than the lighter mix.

Try one, if the spark plug fouls or your engine seizes you know you picked the wrong can.

If you can't remember what mix is in each can the mix is already stale. Go to a store and buy a quart of ready mixed gas and save yourself a lot of problems.

I just use opti-2. A synthetic mix that works in ANY ratio ANY engine. Simplifies 2smokes
