Walking out of the field turkey hunting last night I came across this little guy by the heifer pen. I don't mind snakes at all, I actually like seeing them.

not being able to see the head it could also be a Fox snake

they have very similar coloring and pattern to hognose

Guided 2 nice looking bull snakes off of the road today one was a whopper .
