When it's COLD! Catching coyotes in this heat is the real deal. 9 hours a day on a buggy with the furnace blasting makes for a great day! Blessings! Mark

Its cooling off here for the next week or so-plus 10-12 c for a few days. Calling for a couple days of heavy rain.
We had a few days of very hot weather(for here)plus 35 c for a few days.First big forest fire going good south of Timmins in the shining tree area. You any good at fighting forest fires Mark?I hate it when the burning pine cones fall down the back of your collar.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

I'll stick to internet trapping over trying to lay steel at 100+ degrees, that is nasty weather. It'll test the bait consistency and preserved nature, that's for sure. I was riding around today and kept getting a whiff.... of something kinda wild smelling.... And then I found it. A pal's bait had "kaboom'ed" and luckily it was inside a tote. Tote and all... into the pit! I'm dreaming of muskrat trapping. Blessings, Mark

We will but we always traps a few ranches just before fawn drop to thin out any coyote dens. Before seminary, I trapped from about May 1st until July 14th every year on several ranches. This year I'm only trapping one and then off to Michigan we go.
