Donna and I got 3 nice 5-6 foot rattlers this past week, and daggum if I didn't lose one when he twisted off my 4' snake tongs and got into a pack rat hut!
I snag them by the rattle and then as they tire out from trying to strike me.... bling with the .22 to the head.
It's a wild wild rodeo for a minute or so.

I suggest she might wear snake boots like I do...
but you know how these things work when a man suggests something to a lady

My daughter and her husband have kilt a few copperheads but no rattlers...yet.

It came from the east coast , if I remember right.

I've eaten rather and liked it. The meat is light flakey much like walleye or lobster.

Cant hold a candle to the wuhan wet market.

I know you are joking Boco, but Jungle Jim's carries many different items from each of over 70 different countries. They have more different items for sale than any other grocery store in the entire world. Jungle Jim's is so big that they have people giving out maps in the store, where you enter at. Like the Wuhan Market in China, they do sell many types of live fish, crustaceans and mollusks.

They have many different types of fruits, cheeses and olives, from around the world, I like trying.

If you or any of your family are down near Ohio, you should check Jungle Jim's out. There prices are good too.

One of my minor pet peeves raising daughters is the complete lack of sensibility in women's attire. I fuss at these girls that they need to wear britches and clothing and shoes that serve a purpose. Give the youngun a pocket knife and she ain't got no pockets to put it in.

my son was at Cabelas Saturday a mid day break form turkey hunting , woman and her daughter started asking him about camo hunting clothing , he was still in full camo and apparently they thought the must have looked like it was working,

he says well it should fit right , you need to be able to move , your going to get cold in the stand so make sure you can get your thermals and a sweatshirt under it yet still pull back your bow and shoot.


I wasn't there , I half wonder if the girl wasn't looking to be told that would look good on her and asked out on a date , and instead he gave her practical hunting advice but who knows.

That is a dandy of a snake Mark. Keith you are absolutely correct about jungle Jim’s. A destination for sure. I was a bread man 30 years ago and served them.
