Amen to that. I'll take every minute I can get with my boy in the woods. I don't even carry a gun when we go together most times unless he tells me to. . Saturday was one of those days he said take it but I set him up out front of me in the shooters position because my main goal was to get him a bird.my gun layed on the ground beside me the entire time and I never touched it.i was just loving watching him as I was working the bird to him and with him making the shot I told him as I was hugging him afterwards " Bud, you just made my entire season". He missed a bird the first day I called in and after that happened I told myself that I was going to hunt my butt off with him the rest of the season hoping to get another opportunity for him. I've harvested so many I didn't care if I got one or not. It was all about him. Now I'm anxious to get his daughter out in a few years. She loves the Turkey's too.
Life's too short, enjoy everyday like it was your last.
