Mainly NW in the Fayetteville area? I saw a map that says the county south of Fayetteville has a good population of wild hogs. Any locals know the scoop?

Its been about 10 years since I last pulled a hopper bottom, but when I did I was in Arkansas a lot. Hauling commodities mainly to various Tyson feed mills for poultry feed. I never saw a hog north of I40. I am sure there are some but get south and they are thick. At least thats the way it was 10 years ago. Often I would haul into a Tyson feed mill in Pine Bluff then go to a Quarry over by Sheridan to get white rock that was bagged up here in KS for walmart. Never once did I go in that quarry without seeing pig tracks. A lot of pig tracks.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

My nephew lives around Rogers and he has killed a couple. He showed me around his hunting area a couple of years ago when I was there and there was about as many hog tracks as deer.
Looks like he needs another year;-)

The young ones are good eating, yes? Most anything is good cooked in bacon grease(except otter) Mostly turn it all into ground round or breakfast sausage

The young ones are good eating, yes? ... most of the time ... but don’t eat any with yellow fat
Insert profound nonsense here

I understand that. Would be nice to feed them some grain first but I realize that's hard to do with a wild pig.

Hog hunting is like trapping! Put up a good deer blind! You will have hogs all around you!! Or put in a good food plot for deer, lol.
