Remember back in January a truck crashed in PA carrying 100 monkeys and several escaped. A woman claimed she got sick after picking one up and getting bit. The CDC said they eventually gathered all the monkeys and killed all 100 of the them that were on board although it is reported only three escaped any distance from the truck. The CDC said the monkeys could of presented a health problem to the public carrying diseases. Didn’t they present a health problem before the wreck? Is it something to do with monkey pox? Hmm. Anybody have any more information?

Almost everything you have written here is incorrect. The woman did not get sick from the monkeys. She did not pick up a monkey. She did not get bit by a monkey. The CDC did not gather up any monkeys. All 100 monkeys were not euthanized. The monkeys only posed a threat to public safety in the same way any escaped wild animal would to the public. This had absolutely nothing to do with monkey pox. You need to find a better source of information.

Sounds like the monkey pox came from 2 international homo male sex parties is Europe. Several sources reporting the same thing 2 days ago. Haven't heard much since then. re I wonder if they are burying it now?

Just because it is written on the internet doesn't mean it's true. That reporter wasn't there. I was.

"May have been", those are weasel words to lead the reader into making an assumption. Just like "reported to be" is another example. It is how the media and others lie to us without being accused of lying. That is how the checkout counter rags operated for decades.

Nothing like first hand information. Even though we have never met, I would take your word over any reporter. Thanks for the clarification. I have been wondering for awhile now if that incident was related to this monkey sickness we are just starting to hear about.

True enough but as you read past the headline you will see that they 'may' actually have pretty good reason for saying how they think the outbreak originated:

Most of the reported monkeypox cases in Europe to date are in men who have sex with men, the CDC reported. "the nature of the presenting lesions in some cases, suggest transmission occurred during sexual intercourse," the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control said in a statement.

So far, more than 100 cases have been reported across the world , with the majority of cases cropping up in Spain, Portugal and the U.K. There are also several cases tied to an outbreak near Montreal, Canada, one case in New York City and another in Massachusetts, The New York Times reported . Cases have also been reported in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden and Australia. Many of the cases are in men ages 30 to 55 who have had sex with men, according to The Washington Post.
