the end date for submissions, and then requests for "forgiveness" were a while ago

I have a friend who just got his second one. The first one for $99K had been forgiven. Then he he gets an offer for a second one, they offered 1.2 million. He sent in the application and they deposited 1.66 million in his account. I saw the bank statement. This was about 2 months ago.

The business owners who got them will be griping about student loan forgiveness now... Valid point. If the other business owners out there are like me the government did not let them run their business due to covid. And we bled money because of it. Many of them are out of business. What the frik does student loan forgiveness have to do with it?????????????? Dang if you own or try to do anything you should pay for everything mental state! we are divided and screwed right now!

Here is the website you can lookup who got the PPP loans. https://ppp-loan.info/ It is absurd the amount of money thrown away to businesses and people that never needed it. No wonder inflation sky rocketed and normal people are priced out of buying anything.

Well say what y’all want but I couldn’t do business for over six months, my sales were 20% during that time. I may still be in business but at a shadow and I would not have 3 employees. PPP saved a lot of businesses and jobs, period. Was there some fraud? No more than what congress does every year

So criticize small businesses for getting a PPP loan eh!
Well how about all the employees that deserted their employer for FREE, rent, phones, food, unemployment, hundreds of dollars per child and meals at the local hand out and still not working!
It amazes me that just because your a business your rich. Typical socialist attitude.
Most small businesses have everything they own on the line and for you socialists (at risk)!

Well the government is auditing the PPP’s and there has been some legal actions.
There were specific expenses that were allowed. Documentation and backup was required!
What burns me is the able bodied employees that are still on the handouts!

I was supposed to shut down, told them to shove it and kept running. Worked hard through the entire "pandemic" and didn't take out the PPP "loan". Some of my competition is running around with a bunch of new equipment because they had their labor paid for during the "pandemic" with PPP loans, they basically operated for nearly free and became rich because of it.
It was a handout, just like farm subsidies and student loan forgiveness, vote buying.

There’s free milk running down a lot of Conservatives chins. They can always find justification for it.
Trade unions no longer go on strike since they partnered with government. Give me your vote and I’ll give you taxpayer money on Federal and State aid projects where wages are set by the government.
It’s sweet buttermilk. Living on borrowed money. I hope they’re also living on borrowed time. At the end of the day you either have principles or you don’t. Most don’t.

They will take his house if he doesn’t pay it back.

The ability to print money allows the government to close down businesses to maybe save 1% of the U.S. population of mostly unhealthy people from a not that deadly of a virus.
I wonder what they will do, if a deadly virus that kills healthy young people comes along?
