HARRISBURG — A federal appeals court ruled Friday that election officials in one Pennsylvania county must count legally cast mail ballots signed by a voter even if they lack a date on the outer envelope. Though the ruling specifically targeted a 2021 local judicial election, it could have far-reaching implications in a few of this year’s primary races — including the closely watched Republican U.S. Senate contest. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/poli...mp;cvid=4ee8067f57e44afcb1cab238bb35bdf1

I have no idea. I have given up on the belief that we will ever have an actual fair election ever again. Have a good holiday weekend.

These are the kinds of things that many people have grown tired of. If a rule or regulation can be changed or amended after fact, will anything be safe from now on?
How many cases or elections will now possibly be contested due to this ruling?

They need to go to all internet voting. Quicker.More accurate. If they can do banking on line, online voting should be a piece of cake.

Mister Boco, Banks are a private organization with a board of directors, investors and labor unions to answer to. Elections are run by the government, there is no checking on each other. It is not the voter that counts it who counts the votes that count in elections.......jk

After the Ohio Supreme Court once again struck down General Assembly maps approved by the Ohio Redistricting Commission, federal judges have ordered Secretary of State Frank LaRose to hold a second primary election using maps that have already twice been rejected by the high court.
Earlier this week, the court rejected a fifth set of maps approved by the redistricting commission and ordered commissioners to come up with new maps by June 3.
A federal court previously said if the commission could not come up with an acceptable map by May 28, it would adopt the already rejected maps.
On Friday, the court said the state has failed to act, and "Assuming no map is approved by midnight on Saturday, May 28, we order Secretary of State Frank LaRose to push back Ohio's state primaries to August 2, 2022, and to implement Map 3 for this year's elections only."
The court said it has refrained in the past from intervening in Ohio's state elections.
Given the current situation, the court said it "chose the best of our bad options." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LaRose has been trying to clean up election fraud, to the best of my knowledge.

Ray Barker filed a lawsuit after losing last week's Democratic primary to District 5 Councilmember Donna Purvis by 35 votes. Barker claims someone at the board of elections told him after the polls had closed he had won by 12 votes. But the next morning, he learned a memory stick for the Whitney Young precinct had turned up and put Purvis ahead. Barker claims there were 68 more votes counted than there are Democratic registered voters in that precinct. A recanvas of the race by the board of elections did not change the results.
We reached out to Purvis but she declined to comment.
