Very nice! To do it for an auction is great way to share your artistic gift. Does the engraving give it that dark "burned" look or do you have to rub dye into it?

Very nice! To do it for an auction is great way to share your artistic gift. Does the engraving give it that dark "burned" look or do you have to rub dye into it? The engraving gets some sort if dye or ink to darken it. India ink, leather dye, lots of options.
