California court rules that bees are a type of fish in order to protect them under the state's endangered species act


Judges ruled on Tuesday that bumble bees can be classed as fish under California environmental laws.
This unlocks protections for the state's four endangered bumble bee species.
The ruling clarifies the state's confusing classification in its environmental protections.
A trio of judges in California said on Tuesday that bees can be legally classed as a type of fish as part of a ruling that brings added conservation protections for the endangered species.

"The issue presented here is whether the bumble bee, a terrestrial invertebrate, falls within the definition of fish," the judges wrote in their ruling. And, they concluded, it does.

It makes perfect sense. And I am also a wolverine.

Funny, didn't a notable judge just say she couldn't define what a woman is because she was not a biologist.

So all three of these judges are ichthyologists AND entomologists???

things is pretty bad....judicial rulings to fit the current desire.

If people can identify as a furry that's not much of a stretch.

Why can’t they just say we are going to further protect the bumble bees without all this mumble jumble.

judges cannot make laws so they 'interpret' them how they want too....

My bees drown pretty easy. I had to remove my expermint with internal feeders because to many bees drowning .
Never saw a fish drown before.


Not just stupid but scary the way judges think they can rule to get the results they want. Should be disbarred immediately.
