I know plenty of people that never went to church even to be married and some that are atheist and they are all stand up people salt of the earth. I know a lot that go to church and are not that great of people and are hypocrites. Church or the assumed believe in God does not make anyone a good person.

If I was all alone in this world and had only one phone call to make to someone to help me, it would be to Danny, once of the most outspoken atheists on this forum but also one of the best men I know. THAT said, I agree with the original point of this post as well. In "general", Christians lean conservative and atheists lean liberal. I think even Danny would acknowledge that. Going back to a more Christian centered country would naturally lead to it being a more conservative country.

But no matter which way you look at it, that ship has sailed. America is largely a liberal atheist country, and I don't see it turning back.

If not Christian in conversion then upon a mutually agreed upon set of judeochristian principles of morality that has guided western civilization in how we interact.

Reagan and Trump were the best presidents in my lifetime. One thing in common, neither were lifetime politicians.
