Four years ago, I buried a bunch of whole "some meat, bones & skulls" of beaver, skunks 2 with sacs 2 wo, and joints from elk legs in 5 gallon buckets. Recently ran the liquid threw my strainer then mixed the rest in 30 gallon plastic. I let it sit a few days then used a large cattle syringe to take the top layer off. Will this ever spoil more? What do you guys mix it? I did this with another trappers meat a few years ago and am down to a few OZ of it, it dose not appear to have spoiled more. I don't know if he stopped his batch or not.

I doubt it will age enough to produce enough gas to worry about though I've had well aged products produce some gas when other products are added. Animal materials can continue to break down and separate seems like forever sometimes but after four years I would think it would be very slight and minimal from here on out. As to what to add, there is a ton of possibilities. Finding out what you want to use through testing is what separates the cooks from the chefs so to speak.
