Saw a beautiful one on the way up to work this evening. Wasn't able to get a picture another car scared it off but it sure was nice to see with the sun on it. Saw a big one in the same area a few times a couple years ago.

Yes Gary a blackie. I have seen some blonde ones in another area over the years. Very nice to see.

Grizzlies used to be in northern Quebec and Labrador 75-100 years ago. That population has disappeared. There are Grizzlies as far east today as Manitoba's Wapusk National Park, within 120 miles of Ontario's western border.
