Are you better off now then a year ago? Gas up 100%. Groceries up about 50%. Farm chemicals/ fertilizer up over 100%. Soda/beer up 25%. Labor is super high (if you can find anyone for a quote). Tires up 25%. Ect, ect. I guess I'm not in tuned too what part of the "BBB " plan I'm missing? Dang, wish James was still here to enlighten me.
swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo
You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

Speaking of labor , I had to stop by a local rv sales and parts dealer to pick up a new LP detector for my camp trailer on my way out of town on Thursday . I installed it once I got to camp so we wouldn't wake up dead ( had a recent propane leak and the old alarm didn't work )
Anyways , while I was paying the $90 for a $30 part I looked up and there was a big sign , Shop labor $160 HR
WTH ?

We can’t get concrete deliveries for several reason, but available drivers are in short supply. CDL required a drug test I think. Wrong. Contracts are putting independent trucking companies out of business. Small trucking companies have signed contracts to haul for a specified amount of money under their current contract. I have a contact to haul solids from our waste water treatment plant to the closest landfill 72 miles away. I have had this contract for 16 years but it is put up for bidding every 2 years. My bid was placed based on 2.15 per gallon deisel fuel. That gave me a 30 cent per gallon cushion. On road deisel is 5.85 per gallon currently. I'm losing 90 bucks per trip after labor, fuel, insurance, etc. I'm a man of my word. Have 5 months left on this contract and can't wait until it expires. Didn't even entertain the thought of bidding for the contract again.
