Five Republicans voted today (5 out of 207) to pass sweeping gun control laws in the house.

Here are their names.

Anthony Gonzales (OH)
Chris Jacobs (NY)
Adam Kinzinger (IL)
Fred Upton (MI)

If one of these reps is your congressman, do whatever you have to do to get rid of them!

Kinzenger and Upton are gone as they are retiring in the face of being primaried out. I believe Gonzales as well but not sure.

BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - As federal lawmakers intensify their discussions over guns and school safety, sheriffs gathered for the Mississippi Sheriffs’ Association summer conference said they are ready to enforce whatever laws may come to pass.

I think we need to get active in our own counties snatching knots into some tails. What better way than to get into some local yokels grill and let them know in no uncertain terms we'll toss the bums out.

We do that and get local sheriffs refusing to comply and the feds can go pound sand.

Tells me they will disregard the constitution in favor of complacency.

Homeland security issued a statement today warning of more mass shootings in the near future.
Blaming it on people mad at the current situation.
These same unstable people mad the current situation are the same ones that voted for this idiot. It's amazing how this country has an influx of mass shootings at the most oppurtune time. Almost like it was planned.

Maybe it is time to defund the police? Unfortunately what I saw from our law enforcement community during the riots pretty much summed it up --- "we are just doing what we are told to do". Right and wrong -- legal or illegal never even came into play -- just " I need to keep my job"

I feel sorry for anyone that truly thought the cops would do anything differently.

Why worry about a bunch of bullies that are afraid to confront a lone gun man killing little kids when there are 20 of them?????

I'd like to think that guy was speaking for himself and not all the sheriffs but who knows? But I'm not counting on the cops to not enforce the laws, either. He must not be up for reelection this year!

Probably going to be a bad year for LEOs.

Glad the last family member in will be out the end of June.
