It's that time of the year again, folks!!!!!!! District 5 of the Wisconsin Trappers Association is holding their 2022 Summer Rondy and meeting on Saturday, June 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is being held at the Joe Pietrek, Jr. County Park at N31500 State Rd. 93 just north of Arcadia, WI.
Demos (TBA) will start at 9:00 a.m. with the District Meeting at 1:00 p.m.
Admission is free and WTA membership is not required. There will be Kids' Games, Trapping Demos, Vendors, and plenty of room for Tailgaters! We will have some great bucket raffles and more prizes are always appreciated.
The building will open at 7:30. There will be drinks and doughnuts for sale before the food truck arrives.
Demo List:
9:30 Muskrat Walt Legge-"Tips for Trapping in the Water"
10:00 Jimmy - "330 Trapping"
10:30 Jordan Sell -"Beaver Skinning"
11:30 Jimmy -"DP (Dog Proof) Trapping for Kids"
The District 5 Fundraiser features a great Gun Raffle!!!!!!!!!!
1st Prize-Tikka T3x 30-06 Rifle or $500 Cash
2nd Prize-Henry .22 Lever Action or $200 Cash
3rd Prize-Ruger Wrangler .22 LR Pistol or $150 Cash
Tickets are $5 each, 3 for $10, or 7 for $20. They are available from D5 members or at the event. Need not be present to win. Drawing at 3 p.m.

The 25th? I had it on my calendar as the 16th. Dang thought it was the third Saturday in June. The Boy and I well be in Wyoming at their state rondezvous. Sorry to be missing it.
Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

Moosetrot, any truth to the rumor that Rodgers will be attending?
I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.
