Savage is supposed to have the 17wsm in the A17 at some point. That's a more powerful 17!

Terrible trigger...period. you can read numerous reviews on the cheap plastic trigger assembly.

However, I still like mine because it works fine for my purposes...im not punching paper from a bench.

We like ours. The package sale included a cheap scope. We upgraded the scope and its been a tack driver.

Hornady 17gr. V-Max - It has a vortex 2-7x32. It kills what I shoot at. I don't shoot paper for the fun of it, I just hunt with it.
