Those are European colors. Might google it! I have some Italian tools and put American plugs on them. Are all the colors solid or striped with another color?

Yellow is striped with green.No other stripes. Yellow wire is ground. it is screwed to motor shell. It does say L1 & L2 but no colors.

just plug it in what could go wrong keep a meter handy to check loose voltage before touching

Blue is common/ neutral, black is hot, and yellow with green stripe is ground . Europe uses blue as common That's correct, I just wired one this way , and it's all good ..
