Over there.
Is this just a bump in the road like in the Carter years and 2008-09, or are we going to see some major changes going forward. Share your thoughts.

I'm not nearly as knowledgeable as some on here, and claim to be an expert in nothing, but my gut says we're on the verge of a Hoover style depression and that that may end up leading into some sort of civil war or revolution.

That all depends on what will happen in November. If they steal those elections as well , we are heading towards civil war V2.0 Financially the country will be ruined by the time sniffy is done. They managed to screw up the economy in record time and it aint over yet. Once they start to really trample on the freedom that is left, things will come to a head. You can only push folks so far before they say " enough is enough "

Let's go Brandon

It's my opinion this is more than a bump in the road. I feel these prices will be around for a long time and I doubt many will ever go back to what we were used to dealing with pre-Biden/ Harris days.

This is all by design and for the sole intent and purpose to make the radical lefts "Green New Deal" sellable to the undecided and those voters who do exactly as they are told.

What a shame.

Not really a bump in the road but more of an off ramp. The identity clan will take the off ramp and be governed by the one they want and the rest of us will ignore all of that crap and find a way to not only survive but actually prosper.

Many in government including, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Mitch Mconnell and many others are creating situations that will live on much longer than they will. Many of the faces in our politics will be dead and gone in 5 to 10 years max or totally irrelavant. I don't understand the push to ruin, by many that won't live long enough to see fruits of their labor. But I still plant trees I will never enjoy the shade of.....

America is well on it's way to being a state in a global country. I don't think it can be stopped any longer. Probably at best, some damage control can be done to keep our standard of living from dropping much lower.

We spend more that we make in every aspect. The vast majority is on government subsidies or welfare in one way or the other. They are trying to nullify the power of the constitution. The American people as a whole are more intrested in comfort and convenience than morals and values. And these are just the tip of the iceberg. No worries though life has been good for the last 80 years why would it change now. The people running the show have one thing in mind and that is make the people as completely dependent on the government as possible.

We are fast becoming a second tier country. Dementia Biden and his cronies will do a lot more damage before they are done.

We the people electing Trump threw a delay into their global agenda, so now they're going for broke and we are seeing what it will be like unless we send more like Trump to expose them.

Not good with everything in prices threw the roof, it's gotta crash soon.
But it's crazy the $$$$$ that is out there , don't know where it is coming from?
But people keep moving in around here and paying crazy money for land and homes.
Metal prices are dropping here , the company is feeling it.
Think every month we stock up on house hold good's it costs $50.00 more every time.

Hope I'm wrong but think we are in for a ride soon.

Let me sugar coat this

I compare the economy(everyone, including government, living on hired purchases) to a huge bubble of excrement.
When it bursts shortly everyone will be covered in fecies

Very soon MANY people will have zero disposable income. Tons of small businesses will close forever because no one can afford to buy anything but essentials, if that. Crime will skyrocket as people can't afford their wants. It looks VERY bleak. Prices of everything is dependent upon fuel costs and it increases every day. The middle class is soon to be the lower class. People aren't going to work for just enough money to get to work either. Making everyone dependent on the government which is exactly what they want, and they want to disarm everyone in the process. People all over the world thought this crap couldn't happen to them, Canada, Australia, etc... but it has and it's happening here and people have their heads up their (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) and just think, oh it won't happen here. Plenty of them right here on Trapperman.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

I completely agree with you. this is just the beginning, the destruction of your country. it will be even worse in the fall.
But I can't understand why many people don't see it or don't want to see it?

The people in this country and Canada , are falling for the very same tactics as Hitler and Castro used to take over their countries .

We have met the enemy and the enemy is us!

Our largest two expenses are military and interest, I think.
