Down quite a bit. I’m lucky, Ive got a lot of years to recover, feel bad for anyone trying to live off their retirement right now. It’ll come back, but it may be quite a while

Crazy as it may sound it really doesn't matter unless you are on the verge of retirement. At the end of the day, you still own the shares (and if you invested in good companies) the prices will go up again in the next Bull Market. Cashing out now is a bad idea as you lock in your losses.

Will let the rest ride it out and buy like crazy when it hits bottom. Or maybe I will make more buying all the stuff people will be forced to sell cheap to be able to eat in the coming months.

Depends on how close to retirement you are. If you still have 10+ years, they’ll end up with more than you. It always bounces back, this isn’t the first time it’s happened in my lifetime and I’m still young. If you were planning on retiring in the near future, then yeah, you made a VERY good decision.
