I saw earlier today where Dolly Parton donated another 1 million dollars to medical research.

This time it was to Vanderbilt college to be used for children's diseases research.

She's good people.

I like Dolly. Did some brickwork at her Dixie Stampede in Myrtle Beach thirty years ago.

Seen her in concert and got to talk to her afterwards. Real nice gal and funny as heck. She had written a book which a friend of mine had and wanted signed. She not only signed it, she talked with Lori on the phone for quite a while.

My son and his wife love going to pigeon forge and going to dolly's place there. Someday I hope to make it there myself.

Another real good gal is Loretta Lynn. I have met her a few times. Met her twin daughters and Moonie also. I have coon hunted on their place several times.

Dolly gives hundreds of millions of free books to children too.
