You know, I constantly here how bad this country is. How it's full of racism and hate. How every single day it gets worse and worse. And honestly it gets rough after a while with that level of constant negativity, but you know. Every single day it seems all I see is more and more division , and just I still love this country. Videos like this, one every now and then, still fills my heart with noting but hope and love for this place and the people who live here.
When I go to the gun range as a 24yr black kid and end up having fun making friends with some old 60yr white guys that the news basically said are my worst enemy, that makes me love this place even more.
When a hurricane comes though and I drive buy a four mile line of linemen truck from all over the Nation I can't help but just help but think " friggen America man. It's not what they say, nothing close"
When I'm able to talk to people from all over the country from every dang spectrum and it's a genuine feeling of " yeah where pretty different but we're Americans and we'll get though whatever " well makes you realize we're something special here. And honestly I don't think I could really be happy anywhere else but here....
Idk just some rambling I had to let out.... We're not perfect but..
I work with people from all over the world and races , I enjoy talking with all of them , when they see me coming down the hallway they always get a big smile . Myself I just don't see any divide
Hope is all we got right now. I hope there are alot more like us than I think. I hope gas prices go down. I hope fur prices go up. See what I mean? Not using it as a plan, it's just all we got. Good to see these videos. Thanks for the post.

I see what you mean but do not agree at all. While you hope for better times right now...and that is all you have ...well, that is a plan and not a good one at all. Better to accept the situation as it is and plan to do what you can about it. It may be good to have hope but you need a plan that leaves hope out. JMO, ymmv.
Your thoughts and words have a great power on your mental fortitude/resilience. Saying all you have is hope is not good at all for the mental aspect of your 'game'. Again, jmo and ymmv.

No, it's not. We have a government that is being used to bludgeon a large part of our population into submission. You're right when you mention the government is illegitimate at this point in time. It bears little resemblance to what our founding documents envisioned. It's gone completely rogue.
man for as hard as they try and create division and place labels it is way more often the suits with the labels in their minds and a lot less the people who live and work with and around us every day.
as far as I am concerned it is still the best place in the world to live
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
“15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,”
Wolfdog I don’t mean to hijack your post with Bible verses but I thought this was fitting after seeing it said that hope was a bad idea.
Basically if anyone is a believer hope is their song and it’s not hope at the end of a gun barrel, or in humanity but hope in Christ and His work, and in the love and promises of God. If you are a believer hope is what marks you and has to be defended. Which means it’s a hope that doesn’t always make sense to non believers, because the circumstances aren’t always hope inducing. Notice the verse doesn’t say be prepared to make a defense for the rage that is in you
Ain't there a song that says "Hope is frail but its hard to kill" ?
Belief starts in the heart and mind. I've found thru life when I didn't believe it didn't necessarily keep something from happening, its just that often it kept me on the outside looking in.
Wolfdog, I think I speak for many of the old farts here.
We are proud of you.
You give us hope that all is not lost for the younger generation or what we're told is an oppressed minority. Just like you we older guys are told just how terrible things are and what we did and do that is so wrong. To just sit down and shut up seems to be the word of the day.
The media survives by creating division in his country. No media company is innocent - but the left leaning media is by far the worst. Not just race - but politics, religion, gun owners, abortion - they never miss a chance to drive the wedge further.
I live in a rural “community”. My “neighbors” - within two miles of me - are almost equally divided between white/white couples, black/white, and black/black couples. Us old folks are either white/white or black/black. The couples younger than 50 are mostly mixed. We typically dont think of color of people where I live. We think of our neighbors in terms of integrity, honesty, value to society - things like that. In my community, race tends not to influence those type things.
Greatest country in the history of the universe. Proud to be an American, wouldn’t want it any other way.
With that said, I think a lot of the other talk you hear is people venting frustrations. We have crawfish farmers at times dumping crawfish back into their ponds because they couldn’t sell their catches, then they go to the grocery stores in their own community and have to request Louisiana crawfish tails from the back freezers, because the store shelves are filled with Chinese crawfish. You have restaurants and stores located in the heart of Gulf shrimp dock country, yet they’re pushing imported shrimp. I do believe we should be able to buy any product we want, foreign or domestic, but the imported products should never have an edge over domestic products. Support our own fishermen, support our own country.
We have countless factories that provided good careers for Americans that lost their jobs because their factories were closed and moved overseas where they get cheap labor only to sell it back to us here. It’s not that we aren’t an amazing nation, because we most certainly are, it’s that our leaders and their policies have made people question whether or not their leaders are basing their decisions on our interests or in the interests of someone else. They’ll arm foreigners with fully automatic weapons, tanks, jets, helicopters, and high explosives, but then declare Americans shouldn’t be able to own semi auto rifles. They tax our eyeballs out, then they’ll give away billions to other countries. I don’t really need to keep giving these examples, I know you understand what I’m saying.
So...people love the USA, they just don’t want their leaders putting foreign interests ahead of their own. We depend on foreign countries for way too much. Wayyyy too much. It shouldn’t be that way. They should be depending on US for products.
It's a good thing they sold out quick before their city can out and fined then for not having their business permit and the irs come looking for their shair.
I love America too. However, there are a lot of far left woke liberal democrats that don’t. If they get their way and change it like they want to, there will be no more America to love.
Thanks for posting Wolfie. Some of you other guys, not so much. As a 75 year old I have seen what a wonderful country this is. And has become.
Coming from a family of WWII vets I remember when Mom didn't have a dime to send to school with my brother and I for a bottle of milk at recess. This happened often, Btw that was when gas was 19 cents a gallon. Lived in a rental duplex called the demountables. WWII housing. Dad worked every day. And we were never hungry. To heat the house we went with Dad to a pile of scrap lumber-from a furniture factory and filled the car trunk and back seat area with scrap wood. We walked to school. 1.2 miles one way. Twice a day for sports To put things in perspective my parents had more than their parents and we have more that my parents and my kids have more than us. You can look at that statement as a "better life" if you want but I'm not so sure. They were happy. So are we.
Life wasn't as easy as it is today. Air conditioning?? Electric clothes dryer?? Dish washer?? Tv?? Internet?? The first 4 of those were not available to the everyday consumer when I was very young but were when I graduated from High school.
We've basicly a 2 party political system Republicans and Democrats. Right and left. Left or right too long and the country doesn't do well. Simple. Think of it as a car. Keep steering right and you go in circles. Same if steering left. Both are needed. To correct from steering right a little too long you must steer left to correct. Thats pretty simple too.
