I was told by our supplier contract price for fall corn drying propane was 2.00 dollars. I did not jump on that price. Hopefully it will get cheaper.

I paid $4.29 delivered last Monday.

I was quoted #2.39 a few days ago. And I have a 1000Gallon tank thats at about 20% right now.

I just refilled 2- 20# bottles at the Amish store, $9 each. Cheaper than anyone else.

They won't even send a pre-buy contract out here. Prices are so unstable that they simply don't want to take a chance. We were told maybe in August.

Dad said they sent him an offer for 2.09 per gal. I suggested he fill both his 1000 and 500 gal tanks that are on the same system. I don't think it will get any cheaper.

Though about filling my 500 gal but I got use the furnace and it's the only thing with lines ran to it from the tank.

Just called our company to get it delivered. $3.09. I said we'd wait and she said they were having a summer sale next month so we'll see what that brings.

I called Amerigas a while ago cause yall are quoting low prices compared to hre.

Here Amerigas is the worst. I rented a tank when we built our house from them. One day they sent me a contract to sign which was many pages and drawn up by their lawyers. I told them to pack it up and take their tank. They said they would sell me the tank and I can buy propane on the open market. Which is what I did. One time I was shopping for the best price and for them to quote me they said I had to sign another malty page contract and you could only by from them online thru their computer system.
Forget them. If you have any independents try them. I have not bought a summer fill yet. The market is real unstable. Its possible it could be cheaper latter down the road as that has happened before.I asked one company about a summer fill price the other day and they told me the market was to unstable so it was the current price they were charging which was $2.15 a gallon for 200 gallons or more.

Once you lease their tank you are locked into a higher price then they will sell to those that own their own tanks. There is also a catch to owning your own tank as well. INSPECTION fees small tanks have that date as well. ! They need to rename it to PROPAIN.

I would put in a wood stove anyway. I have yet to run into a decent propane company.

I can get a 500 gallon tank fill-up at the "new customer" price of $1.99 9/10 per gallon. That is a buck per gallon more than 2 years ago. Most places have a 200 gal minimum delivery.

Are you sure it’s 20 lbs? Here a 20lb can actually be 15lbs!
