I just noticed that Harold posted this. Whooopppeee - that'll be nice! The last time it was there was in 2019 and it was one of the best I've ever attended.

And Travis Bandy got nominated for a seat on the FTA governing board in the upcoming election.

I was there in 2019 also It was a great show Lots of indoor space plenty of area for tailgaters And a lot of vendors .And VA has a lot of hard working volunteers Picture was taken in the parking lot

Travis did not have his notes with him at the FTA meeting where the location was announced. I asked about dates then and will follow up with him and update this thread when I get the dates if he does not post it.

I don't have dates yet, but as someone who lives on the East Coast - I am excited to have convention within 5 hours from home.

We are working with PA to make sure we don't overlap shows should know in a few days.

Very good idea, Travis! That was another part of the equation that hurt our rondy that hasn't been mentioned. Not quite sure how that happened, but betting the covid fiasco had something to do with it! See you there, like Cotton, if I'm still vertical! lol

Spoke with Travis this morning and once the dates are confirmed with the grounds we will post. VA and PA will do what they can to make these shows convenient and successful for dealers and tailgaters as well as super events for attendees. It’s gonna be like Woodstock!

Ya I think we are gonna be good just get the dates locked in with the fairgrounds.

That's cool I've been racking my brain to come up with a logo for the 2024 and I have nothing yet. Might put it out to the masses of the T man bunch to come up with the design.

The Neil Olsen trapper weekends that where held in Hughesville PA in the 1980's where the Woodstock of trapper conventions for me .It was the peak of the fur boom years and there where so many well known trappers there it still amazes me just how big the trapping industry was at that time.Minus the trap stealing and fighting over territory ir was a fun time to be a trapper .B
