Hey all, I’m looking for your favorite DIY trapping projects. Whether that be baits, sets, stretchers, or more outside the box ideas. I like making things with my hands and I love saving money, let’s see what you’ve got!
I are a mountain man, and I'll live 'til an arrow or a bullet finds me. And then I'll leave my bones on this great map of the magnificent…

Earth anchors for sure.
Waxed dirt
Coon bait
Pan screens
Rebar stakes
Skinning setup with electric hoist
Fleshing beam and stand
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

So what is everyone’s favorite ways to make dirt anchors? And what about the wooden drags? I’m a carpenter by trade so I’m always looking for things I can make from job site scrap!

Hey all, I’m looking for your favorite DIY trapping projects. Whether that be baits, sets, stretchers, or more outside the box ideas. I like making things with my hands and I love saving money, let’s see what you’ve got! Making my own bait, not lure. 3 day tainted beaver, 2 day tainted cottontail and Paul's bait solution. Just like a fine wine, just gets better with age.

For me. Custom snares to fit my needs. There's something satisfying to building snares a certain way to perform certain ways. Especially killing consistently with no entanglement OR kill spring.
If it makes a track on this earth , I can catch it.
