Top dog does real good in freezing conditions. The last coyote I caught last winter was in 7°. They do make a winter blend that has a hint of skunk in it. They have a few good lures also, vixen elixer, black gold, and coyote carnage. I caught quite a few on coyote carnage.

I only commit to making coyote sets on sign. Coons a little different, but for yotes I’m setting on trails with heavy tracks and scat, but further more setting where it’s fresh sign. Unless I’m finding this sign on the end of their cycles in the area, I can’t set on any more sign then I already am.

If a location is good enough for one set, it’s good enough for 2! You’ll be there anyway… If you don’t already, try putting in a second set anywhere from 10 feet to 20 yards from the 1st- may wind up with a double, or the critter may like one set more than the other.
