All gas is not the same for sure. Last trip from Florida to Nebraska I noticed 2-3 mpg difference from one tank to another. Something's fishy.

Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Whenever I mix gas/oil for chainsaw's or boat motors, I always give it a dose of Sta-Bil, and when I was laid up for nearly a year after surgery, I had dosed the truck heavily and drove the truck a while to make sure it was all thru the system. Fired right up when I tried it. Well worth the cost.
Seafoam does much the same.

Yes, regular Sta-Bil is for keeping fuel fresh for up to two years. It also claims to clean carbs and remove water from gas. Sta-Bil 360 Marine does all that and is designed to stabilize fuel with ethanol in it They claim it also limits corrosion within your fuel tank and system. They claim it keeps fuel fresh for up to one year.

I only run non-oxygenated gas in my lawn mower, ATV, boat, snowmobile, etc. I don't think there's any ethanol in that gas.

One small engine mechanic I had work on my snowmobile told me that SeaFoam was better for removing moisture in gas, but not as good as Sta-bil for storage and stabilizing gas.

That's because seafoam was created for 2 stroke boat motors.

I’ve used it and I agree that it works, but how does it work? Is it an alcohol based product?

We use seafoam.

After Jerry had.to do a whole new carburetor on the 4 wheeler we started putting it in there and in our weedeater gas...
The mechanic said do that or buy non ethanol gas to keep their motors for gumming up

Don't use the whole can
