Glad to see you got it going JP. Adding the fuel shutoff was a good idea. Serving all the needed things like fuel filter/oil change and flushing the fuel tank and carburetor , all good.

For the next time or something similar , get some of these at Harbor freight or online , about $20 each. Red is SAE , blue is metric.

I just bought a Troy-Bilt that hasn't ran for several years, and inherited an old Craftsman that a girl paid $650 for that is supposed to run but she couldn't make it happen. Something to do for awhile.

That's the pin for holding your mower deck in place//....
watch that your belt is not wrecked by being stretched

Ya I figured it’s from the deck. I got some broken welds on the deck. Takes free floating to a whole nother level!

I don't remember what the last box set of orings I bought cost, it was a lot more then $20 but they worked for what I needed. There are a lot of different materials and levels of hardness depending on what you are doing.

It will chew up the kids toys better so they wont be able to recognize them any more after now.
