I've had a few cuts stitched over the years but last year was a wound that sucked at the time but now looking back. I have pictures of it as it healed. Pretty amazing what the body can do. I can pm pictures as it healed for those interested but the initial cut is kind of rough for the open thread.
If it makes a track on this earth , I can catch it.

A few scars and a crooked nose from a bumper jack when I was a kid. Any man should have at least a few scars. Flipping a double bit axe and catching it was the stupidest one. Shouldn't have tried for 3 rotations. Lol

I'm still waiting on a scar from a knife fight or gunshot wound. I did take some birdshot in my left ear but it didn't amount to much trauma. I have scars on my hips from bone marrow taps they took when I was a kid. They suspected I had leukemia. Didn't. My brother has that honor. Picked up a couple 00 pellets when he moved into the line of fire. One through the right calf and the other in the outside of the left foot. Standing 125 yards away, the one through calf was stopped by the denim jean and rolled out his pants leg when he stood up.

A person without scars ain't lived much of a life.
Man who mistake shillelagh for fairy wand; see pixie dust, also.

Oh, a scar contest...
Thee very old dogs, a hound, a German shepherd, and a shar-pei, are sitting on the porch, reminescing about their youth.
The hound says: "I miss going hunting with my master. A big boar once almost gutted me." He rolls over and shows a messy scar on his belly. The shepherd says: "Impressive! When I was a police dog, a criminal once stabbed me, but I still got him!". He shows a big pink gash on his shoulder. The shar-pei stands up and says: "That's nothing. Here, look!". He reaches behind clumsily, grunts, grabs the flabby, wrinkly skin on his back and starts pulling. The two other dogs are watching inquisitively. Finally, the shar-pei gets the desired flap of skin and presents it to his friends. They are both impressed. "Wow! Is it from your dogfighting days?" asks the hound. "Looks like a gunshot wound! There must be a great story behind it!" - says the shepherd.
"No. It's my butthole!"

Nasty leg scar from recent surgery.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I have numerous scars from mishaps and accidents but one stands out in my memory. 60 years ago I was skinning a muskrat and pulling on the head of the Pelt with an old doll hunting knife in hand. The pelt tore free and the knife jerked into my cheek under the right eye. It was a superficial but the scar is still there. I think that's how I got a lifelong case of muskrat fever.
