A mixture of corn, raisins, dry cat food, cheap Chex or rice crispie cereal, with molasses. All mixed together.
It will last four or five days before you have to clean the trap out and have to rebait. I have used ant poison granuals on the ground around and on the ant trails coming to my DP’s. It didn’t lengthen the time between trap clean out and rebaiting. I used a fair amount and it didn’t help enough for the added expense to be worth it to me.

Try fried chicken pieces, if the raccoon are there they will get it, even with ants on it.
