Nice flies, did you tie them ? Correct me if I’m wrong , top one , Hornberg, middle one ?, bottom olive woolly bugger ? I’ve been hammering the brook trout in the wilderness areas of the Adirondacks, average length 12”-15”. Mostly trolling with Lake Clear Wabblers trailing worms and various streamers. Good luck.

Is this similar to the Grumpy Old Men going after "Catfish Hunter"?

Is this similar to the Grumpy Old Men going after "Catfish Hunter"? Kinda ..But it’s closer to “ On Golden Pond “ with Henry Fonda. And That movie was filmed at Squam Lake …2 exits south of where Iam camping now.

Do you strap the canoe on top of the GTO? Or you got a hitch on the old poncho? The GTO ..in its past life …did tow a boat. There is evidence of a welded on trailer on the rear frame rails. But my truck does all the towing now.

I used to fish Stinson all winter for lakers until they started to fill it up with nasty bows. Tell fish and game this fishery needs some smelt introduced into the lake….haven’t marked a single bait ball in 5 years. And have yet to land a hold over fish.
