SWEET HOME OREGON
Went to do a mole trap check at a customer's house this morning. First set was near a blueberry bush in a small raised bed. As I was pulling the traps the customer said "what is that " and pointed to the base of the bush. I though is was a dirt clod but looking closer saw a nose and whiskers. I pulled it out and I had a good sized dead nutria in my hands. It had been buried next to the bush with just the nose sticking out. Strange. Fellow said his neighbor had the same thing happen earlier.

How it got there is just a guess. My guess would be a dog saving supper. Still strange.
