k snow OP trapper K Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 6,408 east central WI	My dad has been busy at the flintlock building bench. He has the barrel, ramrod pipes, lock, side plate and buttplate all inlet. Much of the excess wood has been removed. He is now working on inletting the trigger, then the triggerguard. Lock inlet Side plate laid out, ready to inlet Side plate and lock drilled and tapped for bolts, also drilled through stock. This is done before inletting side plate. Not one in the works specifically for this rifle. I have a few I can use when I need to. This rifle should get a horn with a lathe turned base plug and spout. That means I need to get my old lathe refurbished and running and learn how to turn things. Sounds like a winter project.
