I would be careful with any conversation I had with a federal agent. If they can prove that anything you said is not %100 correct they can bring you up on charges of lying to a federal officer.
Just ask Scooter Libby or Martha Stewart about that.
Either ask to have a lawyer present when interrogated or demand a letter of immunity from them before you consent to waive your 4th and 5th amendment rights.

I agree with that, but there is also a lot unknown, just like a lot of videos posted online. It’s entirely possible the agents were following up on a tip that this guy was facilitating straw purchases and they were just feeling the guy out. The podcaster doesnt know (but makes assumptions to fit his agenda). He keeps suggesting they shouldnt be there because it’s not the projects or a trailer park. It’s possible this was a random thing, which i think is overreach, but it’s also possible it was not.

If a federal agency is working on a 'tip' they ain't gonna let the person they are watching know they are investigating them.

The LIE of there is no gun registry sours me on believing ANYTHING they say. Then you have the state patrol guy wandering around looking at other areas. It all seems hokey the way it was executed. No warrant then don't come around without an invitation.

I think you're right about a lot of what the commentator said. His bias and prejudice is very evident. I'm not going to pay much attention to anything he has to say.

But what we can see in the recording of what actually happened is enlightening and concerning.

Yes u can see what happened while they were there. Which is nothing illegal. But again, we have zero idea about the motivation behind going there. They can LIE about why they are there. This is legal. Contrary to what at least one person stated, federal law enforcement and local law enforcement will absolutely conduct a knock and talk on a tip. Again, no warrant needed, they can take more than one guy, they dont have to be huddled in a group all standing together.

I agree and is just one of the reasons I stopped watching videos of any kind that are posted. Heck, half the stuff you read from established news outlets are not accurate.

Some years ago I went to the doctor for my annual physical. One of the questions on the form I had to fill out asked if I had guns in the house? I left it blank and told my doctor I'd didn't think it was anyone's business if I had guns in my house. He agreed. The next year when I had to fill out the same form that question had been eliminated.

I think it is a stretch to say that there is some jaded viewpoint discussed in this video. It is most likely that many straw purchases/illegal transfers and are done in gang land territory. Multiple firearm purchases in a short period of time do draw attention of atf. They had no legal reason to be ask to see guns or they would have had a search warrant. Videos like this can show us how to best interact if a similar situation happens to us....so they are very useful to view. The person they visited should have just said that he does not answer questions..period. Then asked them to leave.

Law enforcement likes to intimidate people....especially law abiding people. Lots to be learned/thought about in this video.

I do not watch political rant video's..because there is nothing really to learn from them.

I think my first step would have been to call local PD and have them dispatch an officer to check their credentials

that guy in Canada did a better job of looking like a real office before he shot the real officers

at least our local officers when they are doing a non duty assignment where they have their full uniform on they have department logo polo shirts and t-shirts

do they track every rifle, what scope is on it, so they know who can cap them in another zip code? do they know my 270 winchester is now a dedicated ELR after a rebuild? how about my 300 rum? orr my 7mm rem. that is now a certified 1 mile hunting rifle? gonna hafta call BS on that.

FFL just calls or emails your name birthdate, etc. to the nics guys. No info is provided about the gun you bought. ATF has to go to the FFL and check his records to see data on the particular gun,guns you bought. The guy says, "you bought more than one gun and we get notified of that". I'm sceptical of that.

Yes, I don't believe 1/2 or more videos and such. Try not to watch most of it and make my own educated decisions. As usual you have to wade through a lot of bull to get to the actual facts
