Do a few 1.5 hour trips to where i grew up count? Private land pheasant hunting beats the snot out of public.

Good luck swamp wolf. I can’t blame ya, this time off year summer heat has gotten old and I’m just waiting for hunting.

dwc good pheasant hunting is a blast. We get a few here but more quail, used to make trips out to garden city ks and the pheasant hunting out there was phenomenal, but it’s been awhile since I’ve been there.

Plan on chasing the ducks wherever they may go. Start in ND and work our way down.

Excited to go to Southern California the week before Christmas to knock out a public Cinnamon Teal.

Will end the season in South Texas where we always do. Probably my favorite trip that we do but I love them all

Gotta live up to the nickname...

Ks what part of the west are you going to? I've been going out there for the last 4 years for mule deer. Doubt I'll make it out there this year as we have a big deer located around here that needs some attention. If one of the boys gets him early I might head out there again or maybe another antelope hunt this fall out there.

I was seriously thinking about having squirrel camp this August. Take the boys to the state or national forest an hour to hour and a half a way and spent a week hunting and fishing and cooking. Squirrel camp 2022.

I may take them back down to KY for youth deer season but it was crowded last year and I would rather find a place closer than 3 hours away. It's alway a great and exciting hunt but gets expensive with gas, food, and the cabin.

Not this fall, but next September going on another bear hunting Maine, taking the bow this time. Also taking the girlfriend and our sone and staying in one of the cabins along the lake the guide has, so it will be a hunt/family vacation all in one

I’ve been planning on going to Minnesota to deer hunt for a few years. Covid regulations messed it all up. As soon as the restrictions are over (if ever) I’m going!

Hopefully head to Kansas to hunt with an old friend of mine. Then just hunting around here, my time will be limited this fall though due to the new job.

Yup! Planning on stepping out the back door, walking across the road and neighbors' yard, and stepping into one of my duck boats to duck and goose hunt the backwaters of the Mississippi and Black Rivers....many, many times.

Got enough game and fun here. Dove and early goose/teal starts in September along with archery season. Then rifle season starts in October. Quail and duck starts in November. Trapping season starts in Dec, then all my properties start back trapping after deer season in January. No time for Fall trips. Spring trips are where it’s at!!

I think I may do the same. I got one son through hunters ed last year and plan to send the younger one this September.

We applied for a private land youth draw hunt for squirrel. if that isn't successful we may camp out in a state or national forest for a couple of days.
