Of course, her older brother probably helped her rinse the mud off in his " clean puddle"!




Last summer, my daughter bought a little plastic wading pool.
Filled it, let it warm up.
He goes out, looks at it, fills a bucket with dirt and dumps it in.

" WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

"Mud's more fun!"


As crazy as things are these days, I'm glad SOME things haven't changed!

My heart swelled a bit too. Country needs more kids that play in the mud instead of on video games.

I remember my sister(younger) slipping into her bathing suit and sneaking out and getting in the ditch next to the house. It was about 2 feet deep.

My mother about flipped. Not long after that we went to a public pool to swim.
