The left will push this assault weapons ban knowing if passed and signed by POTUS it will be challenged in court and then struck down by the SCOTUS. The whole point is to try to generate more support for their calls to pack the court.

Personally I think they will try and close in person voting or at least in key states in an effort to affect the election

Right now I think a lot of what is happening is pure theater ment to gin up support in their base, what they don’t seem to be able to understand is that a lot of that support has been eroded away by their policy’s, when I comes to what is in your wallet party support takes a back seat when you start to find nothing but dust in it

My understanding is this case wouldn't fall into the very limited area where a spouse would be required to testify against the other, but I'm sure they'll tramp all over that law too.

The really concerning thing about this whole situation is that the United States of America has always been a nation of laws as dictated by the Constitution. If this breaks down there is anarchy and that seems to be what the left is wanting. Who would have ever thought we would get to this point as a nation, it is sad and very disturbing.
