I love my dewalt handheld spot light -- led -- realistically 200 yard illumination - works with the rest of my dewalt stuff - lasts for hours and hours on a 4-6ah battery. Had it for about 3 years now. The one thing that I don't like is it has a red led also which is fine but it is a progressive switch -- click once for white- click twice for red -- once more for off. other than that it has been great.

Don't have a dedicated spotlight but based on my daily carry flashlight of the last 20 years my first look would be streamlight.

I have the strion led rechargeable. Plenty bright, lifetime warranty on all parts other than battery. In the last twenty I've bought one battery. Walk into any Batteries Plus store and get any needed part or repair done for free while you wait under warranty. Mine is basically rebuilt save for the main barrel. One end cap switch and one bezel and lense that I destroyed due to abuse. It's due another switch end cap.

You don’t state the intended purpose, but this has been great for me.

this is for general, all-purpose, light up the night, what's makin' that racket kind of stuff.

Cyclops brand spotlights. Had one 10yrs now on the third rechargable battery that are fairly affordable. Very good light. Believe it's the Sirius model light

In the winter I use mine nightly for pasture checks (lambing time) - I also use it for my Irrigation repair business -- dark pump houses and barns for servicing equipment. I am sure that other rechargable companies produce other reliable and comparable lights -- I will try to get the model no. for comparison tonight.

I have a milwaukee tools and got the M12 spotlight when it first came out. I mostly use it on the river when going ducking in the dark. Super powerful light. Also have M18 flood lights for when at the blind, at the truck, etc

Stanley at walmart is one of the brightest on the market

I have a couple rechargeable Stanley spotlights. They charge with a standard mini-USB and last for weeks the way I use one to shoot backyard pests and what not. They are affordable and I've had them for several years. There are probably better products out there but for my needs they work perfectly.

The Harbor Freight light is superb, recharges at home or in the vehicle, last's a LOOOOONG time, I use them for frogging, and everything else. Catch them on sale for under $10.

The Wicked Light is a do all light. Mine doesn’t have a handle but it came with many options to mount on a bow or gun. After 3 years I’m still using the same 2 rechargeable batteries…money well spent. Countless predators and hogs have been taken with this mounted to a soon to be banned firearm.

Streamlight Survivor. Used by Fireman and Lineman across the country. Received one as a gift last fall and used the heck out of it. Nighting fishing on Lake Erie to tracking deer in the dark. It has performed well.

The Wicked Light above is part of a couple kits and some extras that I use for spotting, shooting, and hunting.

The spotlight is available without the handle. The handle is an option that makes for more comfortable spotting because of the relaxed grip angle. Plus it is not cold when holding the aluminum barrel in the winter. Additionally, the grip holds two extra charged batteries.

In addition to this spotter, I have two rifles set up with lights for shooting and hunting. Also I have a headlight. All 4 units use the same lighting system that contains 3 LED colors - red, green, and white. The LED units do not shift the point of view when changing colors. Each unit also is adjustable from spot to flood beam. Each unit also has a rheostat to adjust the light intensity.

The illumination from these lights is amazing. Crisp, clear, and penetrating in all three colors. Each individual component is expensive, however when purchased in a complete kit form - lights, mounts, switches, charger, batteries, etc, they are much more reasonable considering the quality and value.
