Would like to look at one up close.wonder if my my regular #5's could be converted over with just the new dogless pans?? I was thinking same thing. But I'd bet we can't get that needed bracket. The pans maybe.

Why would anyone ever buy these when TS 85s (American made) are available, and they're cheaper? Because in the USA we make our own choices.....and I don't like to pull empty traps back up the drowning rod.......without a beaver in it . And...TS85 is $31.50/ea (Kaatz Bros) B5 dogless is $29.50/ea (MTP) A little research will cause you to get another wrinkle in your brain....

Looks like at MTP the TS 85 is 20% more? Paying for that easy to set by hand feature There is a trade-off for that "easy to set".

The big boys buy them by the dozen. My research shows $26.17ea for TS 85s if purchased by the dozen. If you're pulling up empty traps on the end of a drowning rod, that's called operator error, don't blame your equipment.

Kinley31, We all have our like and dislikes. If you don't like Bridger traps or others made outside the USA then that is your choice to make.
I use Bridgers, MBs (with foreign made parts), NoBS, Belisles,........and I drive a Toyota.

Which one does Trapper Les use for beaver? I remember most of his pictures having a CDR in them.
